#4 Pot Bellied Pigs
"7 Little Piggies"
On February 4th 2004 our potbelly pig family expanded greatly when our little sow gave birth to a litter of 7 piglets.
"Awfully Small & Awfully Cute"
Buried deeply in a bed of straw, with an infrared heat lamp at a safe distance they managed the cold easily.
"Pucker Up"
In the Spring the family will move back to their summer house along the trail.
"This very old pig loves a back scratch!"
Our potbellied pigs stay quite small (less than 60 kgs), are social, always interested in visitors and safe to pet. When visiting our potbellies you can step over the low "ELECTRIC FENCE" and enter their territory. They can be wary at first, but sit down on your heels or the bench and eventually curiosity and/or appetite if you have some corn will get the better of them. Some will eat off the flat of your hand and can be scratched.
